I’d like to also use this post to send some thanks out to people who made this all happen this year. Thanks to Matix Clothing, Ryan Dearth, Mike Mo Capaldi and Marty Murawksi for coming to Vancouver for the weekend and judeging the contest. Thanks to Underworld Skateshop and Color Magazine for supporting the event. Thanks to DJ Rich-A and DJ Praiz for spinning tracks all day in the blistering heat (hopefully your records didn’t melt). Thanks to everyone at Supra Dist who helped today and the days leading up to today. Thanks to all the skaters who showed up and gave it their all to try and win a piece of the $6000 cash prize purse. Thanks to all the shops and people involved with the regional events. And last but not least thanks to everyone who came out just to watch and enjoy the festivities.

Lord of the Lines couldn’t happen without any of you.

Look what just arrived….the oversized cheque that will go to the winner of this year’s Lord of the Lines. $3500 for first place, $1000 for second place & $500 for third place. That’s a lot of cash to giveaway.

Even if your skill levels aren’t high enough to compete for the money you should come down to Granville street on Aug 15 to check it out anyway because there will be a ton of stuff going on. Live DJs Rich-A & Praiz, product tosses with tons of great gear from Matix and an autograph signing from Mike Mo Capaldi and Marty Murawski.

Here it is, the official poster for the Lord of the Lines FINALS in Vancouver.

Sunday August 15th is the date. Granville street (between Robson and Smithe) is the place.

Registration is at 12:00pm. The contest will start around 1:00-2:00pm.

Here’s how the cash prizes break down:

1st place = $3500
2nd place = $1000
3rd place = $500
Best trick on each obstacle throughout the day = $350 per obstacle

There are going to special guest judges Mike Mo Capaldi and Marty Murawski deciding who takes home the big bucks.

This contest is gonna be huge!! Make sure you make your way to Granville street on Sunday August 15th to check out the festivities.
